Neither are equal to each other. Sparknotes is a website to give summaries of a book, for people who don't want to read it. These summaries are accurate, though.

Wikipedia is an online encyclopedia that can be edited by anyone. The information on the site is therefore not credible. None of my teachers in my High School will accept Wikipedia as a source. Although it is good for personal knowledge, the chance of inaccuracy is not good as a school resource.

no, sparknotes =/= wikipedia. sparknotes is a published collection of summaries of books designed to help those who are too lazy or can't be motivated to read and understand literature. wikipedia is an online encyclopedia written and edited by those with far too much time on their hands.
