When I click on start there is no control panel in list.

right click the time and select adjust
to get your control panel in your start menu list
right click the task bar and select properties
then click the start menu tab, customise
in new window click advanced
the first icon shown is the control panel click "display as a link"
click OK twice
now when you click on start you will see you have the control panel icon showing

Go on your task bar and double click on too your system tray, a window title Date and Time properties will come up.

If that doesn’t fix the problem it could be a CMOS error. CMOS memory holds the date, time, and system setup parameters. In adjacent to the cmos ram is a battery (yours could just be dieing). Most computers today use lithium CMOS battery. Battery voltages can vary, so you'll need to pop out your old one to find out what type it is and replace it with a similar kind.

Hi

Ok , first , do you know what a BIOS is ??? IF so then restart the pc and enter the bios HERE is were you can change it . Inside xp you can change it but online for the moment you are log in , but after a restart it goes back to the hour you change it first.

Wrong location!! Double click on the 'time' in the systems tray and you off to the races!!!

Right click on the clock on screen. Go to
Adjust date and time

dubble click on clock on bottom right corner and select time zone tabthen tik the box automaticly adjust clock ..... then go to internet time and tick the box ther as well and clck update now[time.windows.com]
and then OK
