A new one weighs around 3500 lbs, the 1958-96 Impalas weigh somewhere around 3500 to 4500 lbs depending on the year, the 1971-76 Impala's were the heaviest ones.

I don't know for sure, but I do know that it weighs too much for you to try picking it up by yourself. Get a few friends to help. You don't want to hurt your back again.
