...very good question.
yes....to both. it do exist...and it is a selling point of the wonders of law and human relationships but that it is not actually entirely accepted by all others because of social conditions and values established by what people do secretly to gain power and further social acceptance.
be very careful of what you speak to others...(try to be respectful of your self interests and whom you share with ..)
take it from someone who knows this topic inside and out from a human relationships viewing point....standing point. .... what you say with good purpose and intent (but may not say so well out of realizations of fear and shock or with full realization of facts or conditions of self or other...) .... yes freedom of expression exists....but that you may have to love others whom fear freedoms of expressions so that all may see its benefits....even those who hide their values and practices behind it.
it is god given and not to be taken away...not by any person ...not with gun or with paper on wall.
fear may be used to silence the child...but fear cannot steal the soul. set your mind free...know you are eternal life.
be well all ways

Yes, freedom of speech does exist, but only in the parliament buildings, unfortunately trying to get into a parliament building proves to be very difficult

Not in the slightest.
From the top to the bottom of society, we are all expected to say or not say certain things. It is not the done thing to object or be seen to oppose or have an opinion. One risks been labelled or judged, whether good or bad.
I'm afraid there isn't anything as 'freedom of speech'
Hey, wait a minute, I've just expressed myself!? (will I be labelled??)

Yes it does. It was and is given to us by our creator. On a worldly level though, people, governments, or organizations have decided there should be consequences for speech THEY believe is inappropriate. Is this necessary? I'll leave that for others to say right now. I will say I'm very saddened by governments who don't allow public gatherings, ban books, and have a total monopoly on the media. I'll leave that for others to say who that is as well.

Freedom of speech never exists. There are social norms which dictate what we say and to whom. For example none of us would go up to and Asian and call them a racial slurry because of the outcome. At best they be upset (but you’ll feel like crap for hurting there feelings) and at worse they’ll attack you.

Sometime it feels like freedom of opinion, because speech is so often censored.

let's use out logic caps, have you been threatened with arrest for speaking your mind? just because others don't want to hear what you have to say does NOT mean your 1st Amendment rights are being violated. nobody has a right to be heard, miss
