Actually, I used to sell Mary Kay and still use some of their products, but find that the concealer isn't that good. I really like Almay...and it's more reasonably priced than Mary Kay.

The first question is -- what kind of expense are you wanting to go into here?
Less expensive you can get at Walgreen's for example.
I recommend Loreal. There is also a separate makeup stick that you can use to dab on the spots that you feel is most noticeable. Pay attention to what the label says -- some offer fine and shear natural look, for oily, or dry, etc. and/or more cover.
More expensive where you have to make a purchase at Belks, The Bon, or the like.
I highly recommend Clinique. There will be makeup techs there to assist you in helping you with all your questions and needs. Plus, it is hypoallergenic.
Mary Kay is a good product as well -- you just have to go through finding someone that sales the product within your community, and they come to your home, or you go to theirs.

Put some mederma and if that doesn't help do this........
Use colortration make-up!
1Do not use any makeup products on damaged skin until it is fully healed!
2To apply the makeup on face or body, sweep the makeup over the scarred or discolored areas in a thin layer.
3Do not use makeup sponges with this makeup as they tend to soak up the makeup instead of applying it. If you are mixing two shades or adding moisturizer, the camouflage brush is excellent for swirling the liquid components together. The brush is easily cleaned with soap or cleanser and hot water and then shaken and blotted dry on a clean paper towel.
This might help!!

At night, use a scar cream, like Mederma. Under your make-up, use a foundation base. It is a base that goes underneath your foundation or concealor that can help even out imperfections in the skin until the Mederma kicks in. Try Chanel Illuminating Make-up Base or Blanc Universal, and Clarins has a great product as well. Both fill in scars like you never had them.

Have you tried cover up? Blush? Or here try to put more attention on some other feature. What I mean is make yourself more noticeable somewhere else so that people won't notice the scars as much. Just an idea.

I would recommend bare minerals (bare ecentuals). I have some scars on my face and it works awesome. They have a variey of shades of colors to match your skin color.

i like make up sticks...not a particular brand, but ones that screw up and are like a stick of concealer. i find that they match lots of differnet skin tones.
