Your tendons should be OK in about 6-8 weeks(generally soft tissues heal in 3 if not surgically repaired). As for your numbness, you will know in 3 months. If the numbness disappears by this time you're fine. If it doesn't, chances are it will remain this way.

peripheral nerves grow about an inch a month, so if it was completely severed...it depends how long it has to grow. if it was only partially injured it should occur sooner than that, but it depends on how it heals so it's hard to know exactly. As far as the muscles and tendons...it really is up to the dr and therapist that youre working with. You should already be doing therapy to heal the quickest. Can't give you an exact number because there's a lot of factors....hope you get better!

about 5 years ago, I cut the base of my middle finger on a broken glass. I also cut the tendon. It took several weeks for it to heal completely, but it was several months that it remained stiff. I also must have sustained a litlle nerve damage because the side of my finger still remains tingly. Tendon damage takes a while to heal, so be patient.
