if anything the NFL wants to "let" the Saints win
it would be great heartwarming story - great for the people of New Orleans Katrina victims- tons of ratings and money for the NFL if the Saints win - if the Saints were anything close to being good enough to win the Super Bowl the NFL would love it

If the New Orleans Saints ever win the Super Bowl I will throw a big party and invite everyone to get drunk and passoutall of the place...

It is hard to say. The year the Patriots beat the Rams , it was after 9/11. The Rams were a much better team and were ready to kick butt. But the Government wanted a team named the Patriots to win. So the Rams were told to throw the game. They did, they took a dive. Think about it.

This is such a stupid question.
Is the NFL "trying" to have the Saints lose? What's your rationale? And who even says the Saints will make the playoffs, let alone the Super Bowl?
Another pointless question from a (most likely) frustrated Cowboys fan.

I doubt that if the Saints make it to the Super Bowl, the NFL will make them forfeit.

What? I really doubt the whole entire league is involved in a conspiracy where they pick in advance who will win the Super Bowl.

That question makes no sense unless you actually beleive the league is setting up who wins.
