Yes, b/c I am one of those people who can live without tv. A few years ago, I went w/o tv for about 3 years. My friends were amazed, they asked, what do you do?!?! We would listen to music, talk to eachother (shocker), read (another shocker), play video games, play other games. Watch movies that we own. I really didn't miss it.

I sure would. I really don't watch tv except for the news. As long as I can still have the internet to see whats going on in the world I would have no problem giving up tv.

Yep! So long as the $1M was paid up front. I'd stop watching TV, make some sound investments. After I've double the money, I'd buy the biggest, nicest, DLP HDTV screen I could find and pay back the original million.

Nope. A million dollars would be nice, but it would suck missing all the interesting documentaries, satires, and movies. I would miss Animal Channel and Discovery too much, and also I wouldn't be able to buy shows on TV or watch family video's anymore would I?

I would reconsider if it were closer to fifteen million.

Who needs TV when there are DVD box sets? With $1 million, I could buy all of the TV shows I really liked and ignore the shedloads of new rubbish that has to be waded through to find the gold nuggets.

definately, i barely watch tv anyway, i like to watch movies. i never watch anything but dvds or vhs and the cable is only on cause it is part of the package. never had cable before in my life. i would rather have a million dollars than watch the misery of the outside world displayed in my living room.

no probably not because I know it would drive me crazy to miss watching my favorite television shows, what good would a million dollars be to me if I had to spend it all on physcotherapy? I thought to myself for a moment well yeah maybe I could do it as long as I could still go out to the movies but even then, no it wouldn't be enough for me, maybe if you made it 2 million I could

I would, I mean with a million $ I could go and see the shows I like while they are being made. I would get to see everything live. I would also see my favorite sports and artists live.

So when do I get my million $?

If it was left at that...I sure would. Because I can watch any TV shows I care to watch via the internet - I wouldn't be watching TV!
