For fun and free poker, I recommend www.worldpokersite.com.
There is no money involved, and it strictly for fun.

They have Texas Hold'em, 7 Card Stud, Omaha, and various tournaments. They have fixed, pot, and no limit tables.

They have a great poker lobby. You can see your buddies online. You can chat and send messages to each players. You can also create your own poker blog and share photos, music, and video.
You can listen to music while you play poker.

It's a great environment and you get to meet people from around the world. It's fun and free, yet challenging since they have different types of tables with different skill levels to challenge you.

Good luck

There's a bunch. http://www.pokercs.com/_1c082a9cf0dcfc9c3c43ac8a3f66f869/ has a lot of free money games, plus freerolls where you can play for fun and not pay any money, but have a shot at winning money. They run every 3 hours.

you can also try Triple Jack which is flash based, but their software kinda sucks, and the rules of Hold Em on that site are all wrong.
