Sounds like you are up the creek! You need a course in basic computers! In the first place, you shouldnt have moved them! You should have copied them and pasted them! In the second place, you dont just move files from one drive to the other without knowing what you are doing!

I'm afraid I have to agree with Dr. HOUSE. Instead of moving them, you should have copied and pasted them.
I'm not sure that you will be able to find them on your hard drive now, particularly if you've defragmented, or written new data.
Do a search for data recovery software. You may, if you're lucky, find some that's free or shareware. Other than that, if you really do need to get your files back, you'd better have deep pockets. There are companies that specialise in data recovery, but you're looking at hundreds of pounds.
Here's a few free programs you might like to try. Be aware though, that if there's any important files that you can't afford to be without, the more you mess about, the less chance there is of your reclaiming them. Not all of these programs will work with different file formats either. i.e. FAT 12, FAT 16, NTFS, etc. See what you think:

move files to the USB hard drive is equal to copy the files to the USB hard drive and then delete the files on the local hard drive(for windows the process is the same).
I think that there are tool that can recovery files even after empty the recycle bin.But this will only be effective if you have free space enough so the windows don´t need that space.
Usually large files are impossible to recover.
This site explains all you need :

Yes there is if you know exactly where all these files were originally....what directories & subdirectories.
Try this :

Given that the files were moved and not deleted I'm not certain how effective it will be .... worth a try.

Does the bios regognize the disk as present in any respect? in case you in basic terms crashed the operating equipment, you are able to typically get well archives from it by technique of installation it as a slave pressure in yet another pc.There are some good classes for progression a bootable cd which will help you to study the hardrive besides. once you've the unique operating equipment disk you are able to in a lot of situations get a least minimum guidance and a chance to get well the operating equipment without loosing the present archives.
