Either use VEET or use an electric razor. The cheap disposable ones will have you itching for days. And use plenty of shave cream (not gel).

It might be worth it to you to invest in Laser Removal, virtually painless but costly. I'm saving up for that. You could go to a salon. That is probably your best bet. They've seen it all so don't be embarrassed and it's cheaper. A quality razor should stop the bumps but some people are just sensitive. I find waxing to be messy to do myself but at a salon you don't have to deal with the mess and they can do it less painfully. Pampering yourself is worth a little pain. They do sell things in the stores to ease the bumps.

I've always shaved and to stop the red bumps, using ice cubes usually helps!! I know it sounds crazy but if you do it right after you get out of the shower it does help!! I read this in a Cosmo mag. and I tried it a few years ago and it really did relieve the bumps and it didn't burn quite as much afterward.

I tried to wax myself last week and was only able to do the first strip....I want to know a good answer to this question as well because the removal creams are not meant to remove hair in that area (unless i don't know about one that is made for the bikini area) and can cause some irratation.

There's this shaving cream called Coochy by Pure Romance and when you put it on it relaxes the hair folicle making even tough hairs softer to come out. It's "rash free" meaning you get a lot less red bumps. With time it can help prevent ingrown hairs too. And when you do get bumps use this stuff called Bikini Zone..it's made to get rid of those bumps fast and prevent them! You can get that at a lot of stores.

i shave everyday...honestly at first i got horrible red bumps, but your skin gets used to the irritation and soon they go away (after a few weeks of continuous shaving). AND you have to use a GOOD razor, i use the MAch 3 Turbo, the mens kind...you absolutely cannot use disposable razors or any kind with less than 3 blades. and get a shaving cream especially for razor bump protection, Aveeno makes one. i shave everyday and i'm all smooth.

the best way to remove hair is Permanent Hair Removal Centers. They use a laser and Zap it off! its a little costlt, about $300, but after a couple treatments, its gone and wont EVER come back. look it up online. if thats not for you, the other best way is to go to a salon that specializes in waxing.

you have to shave in the direction of the hair growth not the opposite direction, then rub your deodorant stick on it. No bumps! Use wax strips that already have the wax on them. You just rub them in your hands, peel em apart, stick em on real good rubbing in the direction of the hair growth, rip em off in the opposite direction of the hair growth. Then apply benzocaine lotion to the area immediately to numb it and remove leftover wax residue. As for painlessly.................... yeah right, keep dreaming babe!
