Actually, Turner doesn't have much of a company anymore. It wasn't him who sold off WCW to McMahon. He sold most of his company shares during the Time Corp. & Warner Bros. merger. He loved WCW and was a big reason it did as well as it did, because he was willing to put the money into it. After the merger it wasn't seen as a viable source of revenue by the new Time-Warner Corp. Time-Warner used the brand to make a movie (Ready to Rumble) and then sold all ownership rights and contracts to Vince McMahon and World Wrestling Entertainment LLC.
Ted Turner has tried buying small independent promotions in Georgia, South Carolina, and Tennessee but nothing has worked for him to purchase any brand. I really hope he doesn't purchase or start any brands because he doesn't want to be the public face of a wrestling organization and eventually his interest in a wrestling company would probably fade.

My pal Justin have been given me into wrestling. I certainly in basic terms have been given into it somewhat over a year in the past. i did no longer even know it existed previously then. Justin informed me to observe Smackdown and that's the place i began. i do no longer undergo in concepts the 1st tournament I observed, in spite of the reality that I do undergo in concepts the 1st element I observed replaced into MVP doing his communicate teach and Finlay interrupting it. i've got come a protracted way considering the fact that then :]
