Just got myself a brand spanking new ipod nano and am wondering how long to give it for the first charge. Is it a 16hour, overnight job like the old days, or just until it says its done on the display nowadays? Thanks!

Apple says that you can leave it on the charger. It will show a different icon when it is fully charged. If you leave it on the charger then the battery will remain full. If you take it off the battery will slowly lose power.

Hi
lucky you! You have to charge it fully the first time so it retains the charge memory. Follow the apple instructions. Enjoy!

right this is what you're able to do: a million. examine in the journey that your carry button is switched off 2. attempt urgent and retaining the play button if those do no longer artwork, attempt to fully value it returned and then disconnect it by capacity of ejecting it first out of your computing device. then if it nevertheless would not turn off attempt the "centre & menu" returned. wish this helps
