Yes, they are the only remaining professional football club in Paris. There used to be a club called Racing Paris 1, but the team was dismantled for financial reasons. Some people will consider Creteil or Troyes to count as Parisian clubs, but the only professional one that is located in Paris is Paris Saint Germain.

The professional football league in france is called League 1.As much as 20 teams participate in the league.Currently Paris Saint Germain is probably not in the top 10 teams of League 1.The big clubs are like Olympic Lyon,Monaco,Marseille etc.The club was in the limelight because before moving to barcelona ,ronaldinho played for the club.

No there is another team called Racing club de paris, but they are not in the same division as Paris saint germain. Racing club use to be one of the better team.
They are Ok, this year they are doing very bad they just lost against Lens yesterday in Paris.

No deffinitly not. You can actually find a soccer team in each town here in France. The team PSG is just the biggest of Paris the best and it's the one that plays for the French Cup.

No, they are not the only team in france. They are the only team in Ligue 1, but Paris has a few other teams in the lower levels

no i dont think so, i think its just a name, its like the like of real madrid and atheletico madrid, they are not the only clubs in madrid coz they are also small clubs like gatafe, and the same goes for teams like man city and man u in england. i think its only a matter of choosing a name that incorperates the name of the city in it.

No. Theyre the best known but are not the best in france at the moment. Ronaldhino played for them before his tranfer to Real Madrid
