Well, I cannot imagine a parent allowing a child to have sex at that age, however, if I found my son or daughter was doing so, I would give a lot of education on birth control and sexually transmitted diseases. I would also want to know who was having sex with my child and if the person was an older teen or adult; then that is against the law.
If you know, for certain with proof, parents that are so lax they just let their children have sex with whomever; then I think you should call the authorities at Child Protective and have the home evaluated.
I think when they become sexually active behind your back you have to try to put some sense into their heads for practical reasons. You do not want them to get pregnant or impregnate another child also you do not want them to get diseases.
School authorities can probably help with these issues. The child needs protection and not to fall into a pit of problems before he/she can handle these situations.

I believe you have it all wrong and very young. Teenagers have sex and they dont' ask their parent's approval now where did you get that idea.
Usually parents find out when it is too late like when the girl is pregnant and wonder where they went wrong in teaching her to be a good girl.
Yes it is up to the girl to say no and firmly, because teenage boys don't hear too well once they get aroused, so the trick is not to let it go that far, and make sure the boy understands that you are not putting out in no uncertain terms and if he continues then he is stepping over the line and it is called date rape or plain rape.
I don't get the whole hate me love me part of your question this is what makes me think you are a mixed up teenager yourself and need guidance, talk to adults not other teenagers, remember they are the same age group as you and can't relate through experience. LOL

I don't know if any parent "allows" their child to do such things, many do it without their knowledge. I doubt most parents would encourage such dangerous and reckless behavior. But, I do agree that part of it falls on lack of parenting. We are allowing our children to be raised by Paris Hilton and MTV, where sex is everywhere.
I'd have to check to be sure, but last time I heard, the US population was actually on a decrease, not an increase. Where did you get this information?
Also, if you feel the need to post on here, please try to be a little more mature in your phrasing and language. It completely takes away from the point when the reader has to struggle to figure out what you're even talking about.

Some kids do it behind parents' backs. Not to sound defensive but, how can you stop anything that you don't know anything about until--God forbid--it's too late? Many parents are more liberal than others; as long as we don't have a "human puppy mill" and parents make sure kids use protection, even though, at that age because the bodies of young girls usually can't carry a baby full term due to lack of inner development, what can you say? It's not your world nor your family.

Most of these kids that have sex don't get permission from his or her parents. They usually sneak out and do it, then let his or her parents know later. My parents sure taught me right, because I'm 15 and I don't want any guy to kiss me until I'm at least in college. I've never been kissed by a guy nor had a boyfriend (and I'm glad about it).
About your second comment. I try to be on good terms with everyone even if he or she disparages me, because I think that most humans are nice at heart-or at least try to be. There are exceptions, but instead of hating him or her openly, I just won't converse with him or her. I have no reason to hate you, so I guess I like you...

I dont think most parents allow their children to have sex at that age I think they just do it behind their parents backs although I'd have to say I do know a few mothers who just dont care what their kids do and it's crazy I'll be like "you let her talk to you that way?" or "You allow her to do that?" and she'll say "O well what am I suppose to do she doesn't listen to me" some parents just dont want to be bothered and are still caught up in trying to do the things they couldn't do when their children were smaller and now that they are older they want to go out and act like children themselves and are to busy to pay attention to what their kids are doing. but that's definitely not all parents you cant hold your child's hand everywhere he or she goes all you can do is try and guide them in the right direction and give them advice and hope they take it.

I really dont think too many people "allow" thier child this age to have sex. Oh I think some of them do but not all and most kids are not having sex at this age. Most kids in my town dont even date until 15.

I don't think most parents allow this at all. I wasn't even thinking of sex at this age- holding hands and kissing yes, but nothing more. I agree it is up to the parents to teach their children from right and wrong, and allllll of the consequences there are from having sex.

It's not that all parents allow their children to have sex or teach them wrong they may teach them right and the kids may still choose to do wrong. You cannot be with your kids 24/7. You just have to teach them the right way to live and if they choose to have sex talk to them about using protection and pray that they make the right deciscion.

The parents are literally "allowing" them to have sex. Its not as if they tell their kids that they dont care and "hey, he is hot, go sleep with him"
It comes down to the fact that everyone is so wound up about disciplining their children. ((no spanking and such)) And most parents dont talk to their kids about it, and if they do, they still allow them to go out and party and start dating at a young age or they are not interested in what is going on in the kids life.
