It is not bad, however since I can tell you are looking at Dells I would suggest the E521 instead, it will give you more for your money and the AMD Athlon X2s in it are faster than Pentium Ds. As to what alchemist said, that computer he recommended is $800 with shipping, but it is not the same as what you listed. You would have to add 1GB RAM for about $125, the 19 inch LCD for about $200, Works Suite for $100, and the video card for $50, which would bring the total to $1275. Not a very good recommendation if you ask me.

No, that's definitely not a great deal. With a coupon, you can get a PC with all of that, but with a Core 2 Duo processor, which is about twice as fast, for less money. Or, about the same money, without the coupon. Oh, that's from Dell.

If you just want to save ALOT of money, buy this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16883103023 It has everything the one you mentioned has, but the 16x PCI-E slot is empty, instead of having a $49 7300LE video card in it.

Of course, I'd buy this one, because it's twice as fast as the one that's only slightly more expensive, and it has an empty 16x PCI-E slot, too. That way, you could throw a 7600GT or better video card in them, if you're wanting to use it for gaming. If not, just use the onboard video.

Hard to say since you didn't mention the processor speed. I'll assume average and say that's not a bad price, you might be able to get it a little bit cheaper, but it's not bad at all.

Honnestly, I got about the same thing from dell 2 years ago for about $850 with their online cupon. If I still had a dell sales email I would forward it to you. I think you could get a lower price.
