I think when they first became an item, the whole world disliked her, not because she was a bad person; but because she stole John away from everyone, there was no doubt that he was besotted by her. In later years they fought like crazy, but John did write some pretty good music whilst he was with her.As has already been said, she has made a very good widow. She has kept Johns` music alive and did not saturate the market with his "B grade" music just to make a fast buck, or sell intimate details of their life to-gether I admire her for that. The Beatles would have broken up sooner or later, their "scene" was about over.

Yes, we must. She broke up John's marriage and has treated John's son, Julian, poorly. When John wanted a baby with her she told him, "I will carry it for 9 months and then it is yours". Which makes her so far, a home wrecker and lousy mother. She's currently suing to get royalties for John's songs - yet again. When the hell did she ever write a Beatle song? She's got one thing in common with a starving person in a Third World country. They both live off of dead beetles. Her singing sounds like someone being tortured and her art is crap. Nobody ever heard of this famous artist til John decided he had found his long lost Mommy in that witch. Other than that, I guess she's ok.

No. She was no more responsible for the break up of the Beatles as Linda McCartney.
John Lennon and Paul McCartney just couldn't sustain the creativity and intense writing partnership any longer.
Considering the body of work they have left us, and how influential it is to this very day, there is no surprise that a strain in the relationship took it's toll.
Give her a break and look at the positive things she did.

Otro argentino quemado como yo haciendo preguntas sobre The Beatles en inglaterra, buenisimo.
Lo que más hay que odiar de Yoko es que haya salido en bolas en las tapas de los discos, no?

I am a huge Fabs fan and do not hate Yoko. She is a very talented, radical artist who challenged John in his art and life. She has managed his posthumous career with dignity and taste.
That said, it is unfortunate that she introduced John to heroin. His addiction certainly contributed to the fraying of the Beatles. However, it was only one of many factors in a process that was probably inevitable.
Let's not forget that there was a degree of racism in the early reactions to their relationship and that is something we must guard against at this late date.

Because she is considered to have caused the break up of the group. What they do not understand though is that the leader of the group fell in love and I do not think they should accuse him of that. He just found the perfect match, thats all. And one other thing is that Lennon wanted to break the group up a lot before he had met her. Some things just dont last forever you know...Havent you ever realised that the communication with many of your old friends is lost completely because you grew up
