Something I was told by a friend whos girlfriend works for estee lauder.. That the company Chap Stick puts little tiny miniscule shards of glass in their product that actually cuts our lips but with such tiny cuts that we don't notice it -- that way we would tend to want to keep on buying more and more. Perhaps this is the answer to why Chap Stick is so addicting?? Is this true??

This is an urban legend and has been debunked.

I just found out that chapstick has latex in it, and anyone with a real latex alergy is going to hate the stuff (but thats like less than 1% of the population), I know liptic used to be made out of bat guano (maybe it still is) I know some make up uses fish scales and stuff like that. I'd like to pretend to be discusted but it sure beats having to pulverize bugs for blush like women did for the 4000 years. Now we have big corperations to do the dirty work for us.

Thats why you don't go to the Estee Lauder counter, they don't know products from a hole in the ground

I've heard about this a few years ago, but I don't believe it. I love chapstick, but I dont think its because theres glass in it... I could be wrong tho!
