that you scan i want to put it in my power point presentation but all the white comes with it it has the piture on the right and all the white is on the left how do i get rid of that.

on the picture on the computer after i scan it i see the white. I put just the picture on the scanner so why is the white on the left side of the pic that i just scan. Yes still how do i get rid of the white part. I Just want the picture not the white part that comes with it.

I hope to God that you don't use the grammar and lack of sentence structure in your presentation that you have used here.. Your software with the scanner will allow you to crop the image before you scan it.

You could use some kind of image editing tool for this. Very often this white area is not all at the same pixel level, say 255, but spread over a range. You have to use the threshold tool to change a range of gray levels that represent this area, say 240-255, and set it to 255. You may then be able to use a trim feature that will automatically cut this uniform white at the edges. Macromedia Fireworks has such an auto-trim feature.

open the picture in photoshop and crop it. i think you can crop it in paint and word too
