We are told? who has told us?
We are collecting information from here and there.
We take ear from some where, eye from some where,
a tail from some where, and want to create some thing out of it.
Intelligence, everybody born intelligent. Nature is intelligent.
Look at the birds, they are not lost, they are intelligent.
The animals, they are not lost, they are intelligent, the plants,
they all are in hormony with nature,Except human beings.
our intelligence is covered by clouds of information.
since the world has become so ambitious, every body is in hurry.
everybody wants to grow today, no body has patience, people are not growing naturally, people are growing in the heads very fast, so there is no harmony.
The real knowledge used to be transfer by the teachers, by the parents, by the masters personally,(now a days how much we listen to them) and now we have moved to the books, to the internet.
If reading books one could learn all, than what was the need to open a schools or medical colleges. One could just read books
and become doctor.
So my friend, I think most of the time the information is just used to
defend one's own arguments.
And intelligence is dead under the heap of information.
Result of so much information is most of the time we are just lost into the mistakes of others, and we miss the real message.
Some one indicates the moon and we are lost into his finger.
So friend, It is sad.
good luck

Good question?
I know lots of people who know a lot of useless facts like a computer and they think that that makes them intelligent people. It dosn't it makes them fools.
I cannot grasp the full depth of your question but i do know that
1) There is a huge difference between a wise person and a person who knows lots of useless facts.
2) Our education system does NOT equip our youngsters for the TRUE skills that they will need in the outside world. It is failing them. Our education system is solely geared towards higher education but i see univercity students and they may have a higher IQ than me or have the exam results that i do not but they have no idea how difficult it is in the big wide world wheras i was thrown on the scrapheap at 16 and have had to learn all my lessons in life the hard way. I'm only 23 but my experiences give me the wisdom of a man twice my age. This is a good thing for me as i have a deeper understanding of things that a 23 year old with a PHD in economics would not.
I have a PHD in life!

No, she replaced into no longer discarded via God. She replaced into stuffed with the Holy Spirit on the Day of Pentecost. Did you study Acts 2? every person who's baptized interior the Holy Ghost in the form of efficient way is going directly to have a formidable ministry and that should contain Mary, yet we don't understand precisely what she replaced into doing, basically that she ought to have been busy doing what the Holy Spirit led her to do.

education teaches us to behave in certain ways. It gives us examples of history, details, facts, pages and pages of learning. But unless we apply what we have learned, we are not intelligent, merely a sort of trained monkey that can repeat what it was taught.
Intelligence is not only the application of our lessons, but it has to be combined with what we have instilled within us from our true teachers; our families. We have to have a strong base of learning inside us to apply our lessons to life.

The purpose of education is to exercise the mind. Like our bodies, the more we exercise, the stronger and more effective we become. Learning facts by rote in order to be able to repeat them when tested, is a waste of education. Parrots and voice recorders can do that.

i think that education starts as a basis. it helps us understand and appreciate what 'life' teaches us. experience works hand in hand with education. We can be blinded by our education without life experience. A truly intelligent person is someone who knows he can never fully KNOW everything- as our knowledge or 'opinion' on one thing prevents us from having an opinion on another..no one can have every opinion! i like your question

A person can be either, but they choose. Human beings have a unique capacity not only to learn, but to synthesize and integrate it with previous knowledge. So not only can we be vessel that holds information, but we can be educated and learn to apply our learning to our daily living.

Intelligence is a spin product/concept produced/created by man, scaled on himself in order to show his superiority of existence over other creatures he shares the planet with... It's been shown that he often uses it against his own kind... Just keep in mind that it's just a concept...
