i entered the croos-country team 2 months ago and now were preparing for a race this week-
in a cross-country race do you start at your own pace and then when approaching the last lap you give it your all or do you run at the start?

Just try and stay with the pack and then see how the race develops before making a move

If u start out too slow you may never make up the places you lost. but dont go all out. start with short strides. dont go too too fast. make sure u pick up ur knees and use your arms.
