How much would you buy for an Acer Travelmate 2312 notebook.

Windows XP Home SP2, Word Processor, Firewall

It's in great shape and i haven't had a problem with it. the only reason i want to sell is because i just want to switch to a tablet because i'm starting university this coming year.

forget eBay, as you'll likely get the bare-minimum sale price. Have a look through your local trading papers and see what the average price is for similar models, and then judge your selling price accordingly.

Keep in mind you'd want to get in quickly as ppl are already beginning to flood the market as many get ready for Vista

Computers are like cars. They depreciate right away. If you hope that you can make a profit or even sell it for about the same price that you bought for, get this idea off your head because it is not going to happen.

Having said that, how old is the computer? Did you buy it new? Judging by the set up, I would say around $300 or $400 and probably less.
