hi i have a Soyo SY-P4I875P DRAGON 2 Platinum MB and i was wondering if it supports SATA II?
here are the specs:
http://www.soyousa.com/products/proddesc.php?t=d&id=233&PHPSESSID=e6da179e97ed02286cd35d077344396d

i don't see it any where that it says SATA II.
so if i used a SATA II HD and hooked it up would it work? would i get SATA II data transfer speeds?

It has SATA, it doesn't specify whether it is the original SATA or SATA 2, which most likely means it is the original SATA. You will still be able to hook up an SATA2 drive to it, but you will only receive the original SATA data transfer speeds. This is nothing to really worry about though, most of the time you would not even be able to take advantage of the extra speed even if you had it.
