First of all get her involved in regional theater and acting classes. Dance and voice classes will be important too. There are THOUSANDS of kids that show up for the disney open auditions, so give her an advantage by having some skills. If you take her there unprepared, she will only be disapointed becuase even if she has a great look, if she doesnt have any acting experience she does not even stand a chance. Every kid want's to be a disney channel star, and sorry to say unless her mom is willing to put 100% effort into her reaching these goals she will not get a 2nd callback.

The casting for hanna montana is handled by Goldwasser/Meltzer Casting, 5800 West Sunset Blvd., Building 11, Suite 201, Hollywood, CA 90028

Zach & Cody is handled by London/ Stroud Casting, Hollywood Center Studios, 1040 North Las Palmas, Building 33, 3rd Floor, Los Angeles, CA 90038.

I don't know who casts Raven, but during the show credits it is always shown. It will say "casting by .......".

You audition for the show, not the channel itself unless Disney is holding open auditions for new talent for shows that are in development. The open casting is usually handled by Goldwasser/Meltzer Casting, and they do make trips around the country every once in a while to hold open auditions.

You can get notices of auditions by buying (or viewing online) Backstage/Ross Reports, Variety and other industry papers. Sometimes announcements are also made in local papers for open auditions. I'm sure there are open casting announcements online also.

Your cousin will need photos on a contact sheet, preferably a a head shot, full length shot, close-up and a relaxed natural setting photo all on one glossy sheet. Her age, height, weight, sizes, special talents, languages and other pertinent information should be on the back. She can staple a resume to the photo if she has any prior experience.

Your cousin may want to get her feet wet by going to some open casting calls for extras first.

The Disney site only lists auditions for the theme parks, and not for any shows owned or distributed by the channel itself.

I know that Disney has a huge casting office in Orlando,FL - I see it when I drive down I-4. I have no expertise in this field but
you could always call the casting office and ask what requirements are needed for a person to land a role on the Disney Network.

She could look into cattle-call auditions that Disney may be having, but it is very unlikely that they will be auditioning for parts on already existing shows. If she really wants to be an actress it would be best that she didn't limit herself to the Disney channel, and try instead to act anywhere that will hire her, such as local theatres, television commercials, things like that.

Well. I tried to do Jasminen and it is hard to get in.
But if she is talented she goes in. I think i got e-mail that in the 2 shows are casting. But i will try to talk to my agent and then I will tel you. She has to practice alot. They are very picky for this things. In the show That so Raven, cindy she was just lucky she got that part. And in Hannah Montana is harder. but let me see what can I do To helper so she could be a STAR. OK

Maybe you can start by sending a few snapshots to Disney along with maybe a demo read...something fun that will showcase your cousins personality.
Also you can get started with modeling or casting agencies ...but of course agencies aren't free!!! Good Luck!!

well first of all how old is she and second has she done any kind of acting in her schools. They will want a full credability scale. She would have to get on the internet and put in a request for adution dates. Then send them a list of her plays or experience and wait to be contacted good luck.

First of all, find an agent. If you can't get an agent forget it. This will tell you if you have the "look" for T.V. If you can get an agent, they will handle the auditions etc. Good Luck.
