Underdog and other characters continually get run down. So what if he was a pill-popping pooch? When did he become uncool?!?

Kids these days are looking for characters that are more life like...for example the power rangers or something like that. Personally I find these among many others...like spongebob very replusing. I don't let my children watch these newer cartoon programs. They still watch Underdog and Mighty Mouse and Yogi Bear...etc.
I guess the older the cartoon characters get the more "uncool" they become. Just like Bugs Bunny...whatever happened to getting up on Saturday mornings and watching him and the Road Runner?

He didn't. In fact, he's so cool, they are making a live action movie with a CGI Underdog voiced by Jason Lee.

Underdog is totally cool. So is Polly Purebred. George of the Jungle is also still cool, so are Ella and Ursula (they stay in step).
