First do no harm. Respect others and their ways even when they disagree with your own way. Avoid the abnoxious and those that spew hate, hate is the evil that can be seen through the heart and soul of mankind. Reach out to the poor and remember those less fortunate then yourself. Teach the rich that money is not richness, only money. The truly rich have spirit and compassion. Know yourself and allow others to know you even when it means they will not like you. The desire to having everyone like you is a path of self love. The world will be a better place only when we love beyond ourselves. And remember that being big is knowing not to belittle.

Love.
If you love people you will see what they need and help them. You will give a coat to a cold person. You will give a child a smile and a hello. You will give an old person a pat on the back. You will take a meal to a neighbor when they are sick. You will help someone who needs help without expecting anything in return. That is love.
If everybody loved one another there would be no want or doing without or uneducated people or anything bad. Love would take it all away.
What's the song about, "If everyone would light just one little candle - what a bright world this would be."
Same with showing love. The one you show it to will see what a difference it makes so they will show it to the next, etc.

lots of things, starting with building a good character and watching out for those who don't have one (rapists, murders, abusers etc.) there are lots of tiny things that could go a long way also, such as recycle, compost, cutting down on energy use, watching out for emissions such as Carbon Monoxide.
Perhaps even grasping religious ties. This creates law and order in personal and family lives.
Stepping back and evaluating situations instead of shooting off your mouth. Charity, helping those who can't help themselves ( can't not, not wanting to) raise monies for organizations who are asking the same questions. Involve yourself in such organizations and maybe recruit other to do the same....
There are probably lots more but my own brain overloads on the same topic.

Let some idiot pass you on the road with out getting mad at them.Open a door for some one .Pick up a lost wallet or purse and return it . Donate clothes to the good will. Let some one get in a long traffic line by signaling them to get in front of you ..there's just an endless list of possibilities.

We can start by trying to shrink our egos. It tends to get in the way of a lot of things.
