You may a good point. Additionally, due to "possible" errors with the voting machines, it is be recommended by both parties to take a camera with you to the polling place. Make very sure that when you make your vote, that it registers the way you voted and take a photo for your own records.
Most importantly, don't forget to vote.

Where I vote you are already required to show ID so of course I will be. Also I drive so I will have my license with me because they are not to happy when you drive without it no matter how creative a reason you give.

In our state you don't have to have ID. I think all states should require it, though.
