I have an issue with spelling & grammer - for the most part. Especially within the business or professional fields. I don't mean to but it just gets to me when I read a letter from a "professional" and there are misspelled words. These days most people use a computer to compose them so why don't they use the spell check feature or open a dictionary... I don't get it... I'm just venting here people so don't go all pyscho on me.... I'm sure I'm not the only one that is bothered by misspelled words.

grammer like punctuations or word usage, complete sentences - stuff like that.

Yeah i did spell check but it only does it on the question its self. Besides that I was mostly addressing the professional letters & correspondence (like such). Personally I use the "....." stuff to move on. Not because I'm lazy.

Could it be that they're using Eng (US) rather than Eng (UK)? Being a Brit, I'd write "misspelt" rather than "misspelled" - but this wouldn't be incorrect. I think we all have our favourite (favorite?) hates in written English, but we mustn't let this affect our blood pressure!

Firstly, how IRONIC that you didn't spell check your own question - you misspelled grammAr!
I, too, have problems with people abusing the language, especially someone like you who doesn't use proper punctuation to end sentences, but uses a lazy "..." to go on to the next thought.
Perhaps next time you could think through your question - well, you didn't actually have one - before addressing the issue to all of us.
