Right now, I'm really leaning towards work for the money...after having a father who is laid off, and a mom who isn't making all that much.
Granted, our family isn't struggling to live (I'm going to college, I have a car, my brother has a car, parents are divorced) - but it seems like to make it nowadays, you have to just work for the money....I would love to go into the computer industry, but there just aren't jobs. I'm looking for a career in pharmacy, maybe something medical, just for the strong job security. I mean, I could always take up computers and tech as a hobby, right?
What do you all think?

I'm in it for love, but my circumstances are different from yours. Yes, your best bet will be to find a career that you will be happy with, but don't forget about love, honey, you really CAN acheive both if you want to.
