Most people don't consider hypnosis a "branch of psychology"but it's by far the most effective form of treatment because it deals directly with the sub-conscious mind which can be given instructions to change.Most other forms of therapy are hypnosis in slow-motion because dealing with the conscious mind meets so much resistance.
