Every once in a while they will play a Queen or Freddie Mercury documentary on VH1. Most of the time it's a "Behind The Music" episode for Queen.

I wasn't even aware that there was a Freddie Mercury documentary. I mean, I knew of one that VH1 did some time back on Queen itself, but not focused primarily of Freddie

If you have cable, Check your local listings for the "Ovation Channel". The channel frequently shows documentaries of musicians. I saw a documentary about Freddie a year ago on that channel. It was very good and informative.

I've seen tons of them... but you may want to look for Queen documentaries instead of just Freddie Mercury, cause they have lots of info on him with those too... I know I saw one not to long ago, don't remember where.. probally E! and it was about Queen but had a lot on Freddie

I saw a cool retrospective on him on VH1 a couple years back- it may have been Behind the Music, or maybe it was a special on pop stars with AIDS or something like that. Anyway, I learned a lot about him. He was a fascinating entertainer with a true gift for showmanship.

Years ago I watched something about him, but I can't remember what it was on. VH1 or Headliners & Legends. It was quite interesting. I didn't know he was born in Beruit ( I think) somewhere over there... maybe Libya or Lebanon? He definatly was a Legend in his time.
