For the next six weeks, starting today, show your father the kind of child 'YOU' know he would buy a computer for without question. At the end of the sixth week Dec. 15, ask again.

parents are a lot easier to talk into things when you do your chores, home work, and go to bed without an argument. who wants to buy something for a brat that argues with you every step of the way. your choice!
when they do buy you something it's always a great idea to say thank you and mean it.

clean your room, take out the trash, wash the dishes, wash the car, cut your hair, get straight A's, rake the leaves, clean the gutters, quit the emo/goth phase, join the football/cheerleader/basketball/volleyball/ team, dress like an young republican, quit saying "like..", take out the peircings, stop rolling your eyes, eat dinner with the family, cook dinner. enough of this and he might get you a laptop!

Try going out and earning at least half the money yourself, then ask...it shows initiative.
