Tasmanian wolf or Tasmanian tiger.......they beacame extinct in early 20th century........they are actually marsupials not wolf or tiger.....they were called wolf.......coz it looks like a dog......and tiger....coz of the stripes on its back........it became extinct since the those stupid British people came to Austrlia and just took over everythin....( they think that they are like the most intelligent people on the earth at that time.......stupid!) with them they also brought disease....which also affected the Tasmanian wolves.........Tasmaninan wolves were also to be a pest to farmers because of the attacks the tasmanian wolves on their cattle.............so the British government to the people to hunt down the tasmanian tigers....they even give rewards to those who hunt the poor things.........and so led the extinction of it..........and the only time the tasmanian wolf was declared to be an endagered species was when the last captive tasmanian wolf died.................i know ................sad thruth...........
i just wanna add one more ( though not extinct)
the Philippine Monkey Eating Eagle is critically endagered species
there are only 200 - 500 eagles left in the wild......
by this century the Philippine Monkey Eating Eagle is feared to be extinct within this century............but thanks to continous conservation........the Philippine eagle will survive, hopefully....i think
heres a link about recently extinct animals
