I have hundreds of them. I think issue 1 is worth a couple of hundred pounds, but most aren't worth much at all. There are a lot of 2000ad comics in circulation - you often see collections for sale on ebay or advertised in magazines. Collectors are very fussy about the condition of comics and there are grading scales for the condition of them that give an indication of worth. From the beginning, 2000ad was printed on extremely poor quality paper, like newspaper, and the chances of having a "mint" copy are rare to impossible I'd say. From the 90's they started printing on really good paper with glossy covers. Your best bet for selling is to find a specialist comic shop in your area. They may give you an offer, but it will probably be very low.

I was shocked to find out that most of the old comics I had back from the 60's even were worth between .05 and 1.50 and a few that were worth a few bucks. Unless you have a surplus of a specific rare issue copies you won't get rich off comics. I looked at a comic value guide i found at the library some years ago.

All i can say is I am a fan of the green one "Tharg" and 2000ad. Don't see them as money as you will probably be disappointed. Instead see them as an educational investment into British Comic nostalgia and enjoy them.
My partner wants me to throw my copies away but thats not going to happen. I think the reason is I have the first thousand. Hey ho!!! LOL!!!!! Just enjoy them....

To give a sensible answer to a sensible question a copy of the first edition of 2000ad is quite valuable (not thousands but probably hundreds of pounds).
I wish I had kept my back issues!

It all depends on witch comics you have and the condition.. It may also be based on the year of the comics.. just for one could be around 200.00 and it could be more or less.. The best thing for you to do is go to an appraiser and have them look at it

And I actually DID have the No.1 edition of the US Spiderman when I was younger. I did mean to keep it. Until one day my younger brother decided to cut it up as pics for his scrapbook. Guess what that would be worth now. It's totally irrelevant, I don't have it anymore.

If you had kept it, it wouldn't be worth anything because stuff is only worth money if only a few people kept it. You are one of the ones who helped make it valuable by not keeping it. So why spend time thinking about it?
