How many days of the week do you sit down to dinner with your family?

How often do you bring home take out so that you don't have to decide what to cook???

We eat together about 4 out of the 7 days. Take-out twice a week. Hey, I work and then come home and take care of a toddler. My BF has to rush off to school as I get home. We do the best we can do.

We (family of 5)sit down to dinner together everynight, and everybody takes turns with the blessing (yes, even in a restaurant). If somebody has an event happening, we just rush to eat before hand or we just eat late. We bring home take out approximately once every other week. We may go for a couple months when we have take out nearly every week then we will go for many months, not eating any takeout (I love to cook and so do the boys!). Our take out is usually Chinese- yum!
There have been a couple times when my husband has had to work 2nd shift, but then we take dinner to him no matter what it is, although we are not always able to eat with him; so in that case we just visit a few minutes.
I may not be the greatest mom in many ways, but I try to make dinner time "our" time, because we are so rushed for everything else, especially during the school year when the kids do not get home on the bus until 4:30 and bed time being early because they are young! Between bathing, homework, church, scouts, and sports, we need to have some family time, especially because my husband works many weekends whenever I do not have college classes.

We sit down for a home-cooked dinner about 3-4 times a week & get take out maybe 1-2 times a week. The other days everyone eats separately.

Dinner time is the only time to sit and talk with my kids, so we eat toghter every night unless one of the children are sick or visiting someone. We even make it a point to have breakfast together on the weekends, that's if they get up on time. I love sitting down and eating with my family.

We normally buy take out on fridays. I feel like it's my reward for getting by another week.

We sit down for dinner together 4 nights per week. We only bring in take home 1 night per week. On the other 2 nights, we have a light meal, and eat at seperate times. There are no instant meals in this kitchen!

Lucky to be an at home mom, I am able to cook for my family 7 days a week. I feel old fashion values are important even small ones such as sitting down and eating dinner together.
