our life is mix of hate and love
and there is balance between both of them
if there is no hate then there is nothing called love
and if there is no love then there is nothing called hate
u may hate one day and love another day its normal matter
i am with my feelings toward situations and persons i love and hate i love who deserve and hate who deserve

Your answer depends of hat kind of motivation you are talking about. For example, let´s say you work in a small low budget, with no future company, no to mention you hate so much your boss you can´t even stand him for a minute. Hate against him and the fact that the company isn´t that good, could motivate you to quit your job even though you don´t have another one. However, on the other side if you feel so caring about your boss (you might say he´s kind of your second father) then you will be motivated to stay for the "loser company" just because you feel good about it.
Second Example, Dear Dude:
What will motivates more a person to pull the trigger?
:
a mother´s love to protect his children from the series killer -raper,
or
your hate against your eldest half brother that has rapped you since you were a child.
it all depends on your point of view..................

Both are great motivational forces, but I'd have to say that hate is the more powerful of the two in my life. Even something as simple as housework is done because I hate people seeing the place messy, and I know that I am much more likely to take action, make changes, when I am angry and hating someone or some situation. It isn't a nice thing to admit, but...?

for me it would be LOVE and i assume it should be this way for all people ....cause i believe the majority of people are good and want the good for others
and hate is very cruel feeling if you are a good hearted person even if you hate someone or something eventually you will try to ignore it ...
but to be motivated by hatred .it mean you sustain that cruel feeling and to remember that person you hate for long time until you achieve your goal...i think you will be just bitter...

Personally. Love and Hate, both of them overload my emotional senses and send me to the battle field in very motivational way. They are both in my opinion equally strong when it comes to my motivation and susses in life.
As a mother of disabled children, i get anger enough at the school system to fight for positive progressions. As a black women I am pushed by anger to succees and be the best in my field of studies, As a wife, i am fueled by love, from my wonderful husbands to maintain and keep on maintain even when i have nothing left to give. The Love of God gives me that extra power to continue though many footsore days.
So yeah both about equal.

A bit of both. I hate what the power mongers are capable of doing to innocent people, so when I have the opportunity, I try to add some goodness into the world.
