Yes, stress is a major factor. When stressed, the body lets down its immune guard, making it easier for yeasts to multiply to such extent that it becomes an infection. Stress is actually the number one cause of spontaneous abortion. People frequently underestimate the effect of stress of the body, but it harms your body a lot more than you would think, and part of that is altering your immune system in such a way that it reacts abnormally.

Stress can cause a lot of problems but I'm not sure about a yeast infection. If you are under a great deal of stress, your adrenal glands are working overtime and your immune system is at risk. Do some things to build up your immune system like taking a pro-biotic which will build up the friendly bacteria in your intestines and will also help soothe your yeast infection.

Stress would not be a cause of a yeast infection. A yeast infection is caused by an imbalance in the normal vaginal flora. This is usually due to a chemical, food change and even sex. Douching removes the normal bacteria that keep the yeast in check so they over reproduce and you have a yeast infection as a result. Over consumption of sugar is a very common cause of yeast infections - since sugar is a primary food source of yeast it eats that up and grows like crazy in there. Antibiotics will give you one as well. Yeast can be transferred from the male to female to female via intercourse. Many women think it's their bodies that cause a yeast infection when it was actually transmitted to them by their partners.

Yeast cause a yeast infection, but they are ever present, waiting for an opportunity. Stress weakens your immune distress making you more susceptible to infection, or allowing an existing infection to flare up.

Hello, I'm on the second week and seeing definite improvement on my yeast infection symptoms:
https://bitly.im/aMCHF
Note that: If the yeast infection doesn't respond to over the counter treatment, prescription medication will likely be necessary. Similarly, if the symptoms return after two months of being treated, you should contact the doctor for professional treatment rather than resorting again to home treatment.

If this is the first time you have experienced a yeast infection, you should schedule an appointment to have the condition treated by a doctor instead of resorting to home treatment
