I must start with congratulations with raising your SAT to a nice new level. From their web page, they take a holistic approach to selecting students for admissions which includes standardized testing (SAT, AP courses), personal qualities (leadership, character, maturity, motivation, etc.), college preparatory work in high school, and community and educational achievement. Admission is dependent upon the school department you are applying for. The best thing is to talk to one of their admissions counselors. For more information, please refer to the links below. You need to work on still raising your SAT score in the critical reading section and the overall composite score since you are in the middle of the pack.

The SAT seems to be scaled differently from when I remembered it.
You definitely have a better chance of getting admitted with that boost in your test score. Only one way of telling whether or not you will get admitted. APPLY!!!
You should apply to about 5 different colleges too. Good luck, and enjoy your senior year.

Go to collegeboard.com and search on UCLA from there...it should take you to a page where you can easily see the average scores for first year students admitted there last year.

The best thing to do would be to contact UCLA and ask someone in Admissions. And double check your spelling!
