It is B S. The terrorists won when the US government went into Iraq (which has never been part of the war on terror as Saddam had no links, in fact hated, extremist organizations) without a plan. By starting that war the US government lost global respect by botching it ever since the US government lost the respect of the people.

The simple fact that the GOP has lead a do nothing congress for so long has lead to their own demise. They need to suck it up and admit they themselves lost the support of the people and stop blaming terrorists.

Bush and Cheney know nothing about war, they are both Draft dodgers. Only the brain dead would think a terrorist would stand and fight in Iraq. They will not, they are Cowards. The terrorist does the dirty work behind your back just like in Nam. A terrorist would never face our Marines in a fair fight. They would not even face the average American in a fair fight. We have a $9 trillion national debt under Republicans, Government has grown bigger not smaller under Republicans. We are not safer now that most of the world hates the USA. The Iraq war will cost tax payers $2 trillion. How could a Democrat be worse?

It is not true to on a global scale, but they may win on certain levels. I think when Bush makes this statement he is referring to the desire of many Democrats to pull out of Iraq. If we just pull out while Iraq is unstable and while there are numerous terrorist groups trying to claim Iraq as a home for their groups there is no doubt they will have a greater chance at doing so. The U.S. in iraq provides a support/spin for the new government to implement their new law/constitution, etc. I could go on, about the spiraling from there, but I'm sure you get the point. On the home front, I think Democrats will do fine on a national level (if you agree with thier ideology that is).

Most Democrats have based their political campaign on the war. Many have stated that they would bring the troops home now. If the troops were pulled out of Iraq now, the terrorists would celebrate a great victory.
This would hep them up to where they would think they are invincible. They beat the entire American army, they can do anything that comes to their mind.
Remember that the Muslim mind is still back in the seventh century. They won't believe that we pulled out because we can't stop the Muslims from killing each other. That if they want their civil war- - - go ahead and wipe each other out.
To them, it's because they have Allah on their side, with him anything is possible.
Direct answer- - - Yes, I believe it's true.

You are all fools. We are fighting EXTREMISTS!! They don't claim a home!! We had lost the "war on terror" before it began. Unless we kill everyone, yes everyone, ourselves included, then there is no way to stop terrorism. It happened here, by American Hands, but people forget that. It has been happening around the world for longer than anyone has been alive. Terrorism will always exist as long as one person has something another person either wants or hates. You just gotta hope that it doesn't come to your neighborhood. Iraq is now producing terrorists. But, lest ye forget, the majority of the 9-11 hijackers were Saudis, not Iraquis!! Why not go after Saudi Arabia?

Right now President Bush is scared. He has a lot of ties with oil and if the democrats win office they will find this out. It is not right. The whole reason we are still in Iraq is because of oil. Our current president is very, very greedy and looking to make his family more wealthy. The terrorists are always going to be there. There are people in America that are Americans that are terrorists. We found that out with 9-11. So I think it all has to do with our president being scared of we the people would really find out.

First thing first how often does Bush tell the truth? Not often.

Only scared little scumbags would fall for a lie like that, remember 9/11 happened during Bush's time in office.

We don't have to vote democrat or repbulican to allow the terrosits win; they already have.

Americans live in fear of our tyrannical government and terrorists. We have lost our civil liberties, and are slowly loosing what little we have left. We are living in a police state and so many do not realize that.

Consider the Boiling Frog theory: If you put a frog in boiling water, he'll jump out - Put him in a pot of lukewarm water and slowly turn up the heat until boiling, he will die. America was put into a pot of lukewarm water many years ago, and few have noticed that the water is boiling.

By taking away our civil liberties, freedoms, and rights one at a time, we have gotten 'used to' these ridiculous laws and have become the equivilent of sheep - and that is sad.

If the terrorists hate our freedom as Bush says, then they should be rejoicing, as we no longer have freedom and they have in fact won.

I feel that Bush would say anything to keep republicans in office but I don't believe the terrorists will win regardless of how we vote.

I honestly believe it's a GOP fear tactic, knowing the all media thrives on fear reporting he makes the most of scare exposure. I believe the US alone isn't capable of neutralizing the terrorists that have united against the Western, Christian, and Democratic societies today.

NO WAY!!!! Bush is just trying to get people to believe whatever he says. If you take a look from the point of view of other countries , many people hate Bush. I bet that if he looses in this year's election, the US will be way better off.
