This means that you have a full sized tire on a steel rim (wheel) for your spare tire. Also means that it's located under the body of the car. This is a good feature to have, shows the car maker didn't skimp to make a cheaper car. Many cars have a "donut" spare tire usually located in the trunk. It's smaller than a regualr tire and you cannot travel very far on them. Also the rim looks nothing like the ones already on your car so you end up looking kinda funny going down the road.

It means that you don't have a "donut" for a spare, you have a full size, regular rim spare and it is located under the body of the vehicle.

A lot of time the spares provided with cars are very small tires that you cannot drive on for long. By having a full size, if you need to use your spare you will have the peace of mind that you don't need to get to the tire repair place quickly and you are not harming your car by driving on the little tire.

That dose mean that the full size spare tire is stored under the veichol and it is mounted on a steel wheel rather than a aluminum wheel like could be on the car

Is this a type of SUV or truck? A lot of them have the tire stored outside the vehicle on the underside--it's something to take into consideration if you are a female who drives alone a lot because it's hard to get that tire out when you have to change it! Full size means it's not a "donut" type tire (a small tire meant to be used only for emergencies and isn't meant to go more than about 60 miles) but a full size replacement tire.

It's exactly what it says it is. A full-sized tire on a steel rim that is stored under the body of the vehicle to use as a spare in case of an emergency.

It's a spare tire, and it's under the car. Which means that in order to change your tire, you have to crawl underneath, loosen the bolts and drag the tire out, and then you can change your tire. Steel Rim is that the Rim (the metal part that the tire goes on) is made out of steel. When you look at spare tire, look for a sticker on the Rim or tire, that tells you if its for emergency only (i.e. you can only drive less than 35 or 45 mph.)

The spare tire is a regular sized tire like the one already on your car. Sometimes they have those small temporary spares that are made that way to save space. This one is a full size.

It means that your spare is the same size as your other 4 tires. Maybe the wheel is different. And is stored under your chassis.

It is a convenient feature, because you can ride on it, as opposed as a donut (small tire)

I think it means the car has an actual NORMAL TIRE complete with the rim for a spare.....rather than one of those small "donut" wheels that you're only supposed to use temporarily.
