Hey,
The same thing happen to me....I got off the pill, had sex, didn't think I could get pregnant so fast...I bleed a little brown, looked it up on the internet and read about it, and it seem to me that it was implantation bleeding, so I kinda knew I was pregnant, I was so excited...Waited 5 days after missing my period, and the test was negative, I took another EPT test after not having a period for 7 days, it was negative, so I called the doctor and they told me to wait 8-10 days after a missed period, so I waited and went to a free clinic on my 9th day, and it was positive, I didn't believe it, so I went to the hospital and sure enough it was POSITIVE...So you might be!!! It sounds like implantation bleeding to me, it normally occurs after 2 wks of having sex...Well, good luck and best wishes...

I went to the Gyno last week for my yearly check up, and she has me keep track of my periods on this calender that she gave to me. While we were looking the calender over, I pointed out to her that I had spotted for 2 days one month, and it was approximately 12 days after my last period. She said this was nothing to worry about, that spotting sometimes occurs when you're ovulating. I also expressed concern about the blood being a dark color, not only during the spotting but during my periods as well, and she said this was also normal. She explained that some of the blood may not travel very far and be a lighter, pinkish color, while some of the other blood travels a longer distance, giving it time to "die" and turn brown. I also told her the spotting had never happened to me before, and neither had the brown/pink blood, only over the last year or so. She didn't seem concerned at all, so if your tests checked out ok I would take that as a good sign. Maybe to be on the safe side you should set up an appointment with an OBGYN, not only to discuss your concerns about the brown spotting, but also about your attempt to become pregnant. After you get pregnant, you're going to need to see a doctor anyway, so maybe now is the best time to start. Good luck, and make an appointment for the peace of mind, if nothing else.

the fact that the test was negative doesn't mean that you are not pg....it could be too early to tell...that spotting could have been implantation bleeding....wait a week , see if your period comes...if it doesn't take another test...if it is still negative and you have no period go to your dr and get a blood test done...not all women show in a home pg test. Blood tests are 100% accurate. Good luck.

If the spotting is implantation bleeding, it is too early for a test to be accurate. If you are really anxious about it, then go to the doctor. If not, just wait a week or two and take another test. Good Luck!

Well, the color of it says implantation bleeding, but that usually doesn't last more than 2 days at most. I would check with your doctor to be sure! Good Luck!

I think that it is just discharge and that you will either start your period or it could just be were you are irregular. If the test is negative then its probubly just your period going to start.

If you are really concerned, I would talk to your doctor. Home pregnancy tests are not always accurate and when they are it is usually five days after the missed period. Good luck to you!
