when ever i buy a jar of pickles the first thing i do is drink all the juice in the jar and my brothers and mother think that its disgusting what do you think

I've heard of people drinking the brine. Also, I've heard of people drinking the "pot liquor" out of greens.
So to me this isn't too horribly odd. However, I would worry about the salt I was consuming. And the fact that your pickles could go dry.

Yeah, that's gross. You don't need to drink the juice because it's there. It's really not made for drinking.
