A lot of research has been done on the concepts of death and dying. Much anecdotal evidence presents several parallels for those who have experienced near death experiences, i.e., being "clinically dead" and then becoming revived by medical intervention.

One of the common elements of the NDE or "near death experience" is the "Being of Light" which some religious cultures perceive as an angel, others Christ, and other something else. Without exception, this being approaches the person having the NDE and asks them something to the effect of "Is it sufficient" and "What have you done with your life to show me."

Then in an instant of completeness and clarity this being of light gives you a "life's review" in the form of the "movie of your life" you mention.

Yes, I think we will have this life's review at the time of our death and that the 'being of light' will present it to us.

Very interesting question. Unless the authenticity of the memory is concerned (i.e. if you recall things as they happened), it may be possible. Think of your brain as a big toy box. Even if you cannot find one of the toys, it is hiding somewhere in the box. (unless it's completely gone) Normally a brain also regulates itself; but prior to death, the brain may lose its control; and there is a real good chance that everything in the 'toy box' will pop out and you might get to see all of them...

It might be interesting to see that... But here is a question for you: how do you know that you're not actually dying now and what you perceive it just a "movie of your life"?

Good question! Yes I often wonder if that will happen. It hasn't so far when I have had a couple close calls...but maybe the 'projectionist' knew it was not really time to flip the 'play' switch! heh heh
My life has been so busy, I bet I will have two reels to watch.

no, i am already a character in a movie. i realize, every now and then, that i have been "watching" my life occur asif it were on a television set, pretending my series of mimicable, unimportant conversations included more thought, more of myself. with thoughts devoted to everything except what is actually going on in my life, the movie continues. i leave unsatisfied but always come back for more.

Why should one wait till one dies to see the "movie of life"? don`t we do it almost regularly? We look back to our childhood, our youth , our adventures , everything.

Yes. I believe that we will be replayed a few important parts of our lives when we die. These parts will have direct relevance to the next birth that we will take.

I believe I have to live that good and honest that seeing it again after my death wouldn't make me disapointed.Cous we usually do somethings that we can't stand seeing it again ourselves,it makes us ashamed. So why doing things that make ourselves shamed ?
