Are they really worthy? Even if they beat Rutgers?

No. It's highly unlikely. They don't really play that strong a schedule compared to teams like Ohio State (Big Ten) or Pac 10 teams or Big 12 (Southwest Conference teams). Rutgers is having a great season but they too don't play the really tough schedule. If they go unbeaten and it turns out that there are only two undefeated teams left in the country.....Then and only then would it happen.

Considering that the Cards lost Michael Bush for the season and are still undefeated says alot, but they will have to beat #15 and undefeated Rutgers in New Jersey, and they play at Pittsburgh three weeks from now. Pittsburgh could very well be in the top 25 within the next three weeks with their upcoming schedule. But, even with Michigan and Ohio State in the upcoming weeks, don't be surprised that if it is a close, well played game, the BCS voters could very well keep the winner and loser of the "BIG" game in the BCS championship game. I've seen stranger things happen when it comes to the BCS.

Hey Broncodud, West Virginia did lose, LAST NIGHT . I will give you the benefit of a doubt, maybe you are in a different ? state of consciousness. I am a huge Buckeye fan. I need to say that so that there is no confusion. After watching the game LAST NIGHT, I really don't feel that Louisville has the defense to stop my Buckeyes, Michigan or even Texas. And I know that they could not score near as many points against those teams either. I honestly think that any of those teams with 1 loss ( that's IF Michigan beats the Buckeyes ) would destroy Louisville. So no, I don't feel that they are worthy. It might happen, but I think that the NC game would be better with OSU, MICH, TEXAS or even FLORIDA.

Louisville has 2 quality wins Miami and WVU. If they beat Rutgers then they will have 3. They can play with any team in country. If they make to the Championship they will not lose 70-0 It will be closer. The Cards can play with the big confrences. As proven last year at VA Tech, and this year against Miami.

If Louisville wins out how can you not put them there. If they do win out they will have 3 wins over teams in the top 25 when they played them two of them in the top 15. Which is exactly the same number of top 25 wins as all those 1 loss schools (Florida, Auburn, and Texas) that are always mentioned if those teams win out. They will also have a win over the highest ranked team of any of those schools with their win over West Virgina at #3.

So if Louisville wins out they have the credentials to play in the big game. Brohm is the real deal and Mich or OSU are going to have their hands full if it comes down to that. Could be a high scoring shootout of a championship.

No, but had they beaten WV on the road, or beat them down really bad then maybe.....but as of now, they have that 1 quality win and it was at home. Probably not enough to get them in the championship game. If they destroy Rutgers, they may have a better case for themselves....i think if the SEC produces a 1 loss team, that team will play the winner of Mich/OSU for the title.

Sadly not. I think a one-loss SEC team or the loser of the Michigan/Ohio St. would get top priority over an undefeated Louisville or an undefeated Rutgers for that matter.

Yes they probably will play for title now. Are they worthy of it? Probably just as deserving as any other of the top ten teams. I don't know if they played in the SEC, Big 10, Pac 10, Big 12 if they would be undefeated though. There QB is awesome though but the defense doesn't look spectacular.

Damn the BCS needs some kind of playoff even if it is just the top 4 teams

ought to? Michigan. basically way which will take place is that if USC loses to ND and Florida the two loses to FSU (Fla 14 FSU 7) or Arkansas (who lost to LSU). Of each and every of the single loss communities Michigan lost to the #a million team. yet there'll be those asserting that the different a million loss communities ought to get a threat to beat OSU which Michigan already had and have been unsucessful. Notre Dame is particularly a lot eradicated because of the fact they lost to Michigan, could be complicated to %. them over the only team that beat them in the event that they a approach or the different beat USC,

I think if they do win out, they would have a very good argument for the national championship game. They might not have played as many good teams, but that's not their fault. they have done everything they were supposed to so far and beat every team. Now if a team like Boise State goes undefeated, I think they don't deserve it, because they REALLY haven't played anybody good.
