Try "puging" your system restore, that usualy does the trick, had fixed this same problem for me loads of time. Go onto Start > Control Panel > System (you will need to be on classic view for this) > click the tab that says sytem restore at the top left corner, > Tick the box that says turn off system restore, then you will promted saying "This will delete all your restore point, do you wish to continue? Press yes, it may take a while depending on how much space it has taken on your pc, once it has been turned off follow the above steps only this time UNTICK the box saying "Turn of system restore", this will activate it for you again.
Dont forget to create a brand new restore point once you have done this, and it should be up and runnig!!

You cannot restore your system unless you have sufficient room on the hard drive. Try dumping some of your obsolete files.

Your system restore point is corrupted. Make a new restore point and see if it restores.

Always run `chkdsk` before carrying out a restore, it will sort out any problems that other programmes don`t look at, like unused space, checksum errors, datestamps and so on.

`Start` `Run` type `chkdsk`

try with different restore points. if nothing works probably u might have uninstalled or deleted some irreversible stuffs. it will not work in this condition. bad luck.
