It could be. My son punched and kicked the mess out of my ribs. It will get easier in the next few months when the baby drops, so he won't be so close to your ribs. Being uncomfortable is just a part of pregnancy. Only 3 more months to go!

Sounds like you are carrying the baby high. I did too. Around the middle of my 8th month, he got comfortable UNDER my right rib cage. Then as all babies do -- he would stretch -- you could actually see the lower part of my rib cage move forward. Talk about painful! I pray your baby drops before then. Good Luck. Do you know the sex yet? Bet ya got a boy.

Possibly. If you are a small woman then your baby, could be moving to find a more comfortable place to be at, and that could make your ribs and stomach feel funny. If it continues to be a problem, then consult your doctor to figure out a way to make yourself feel more confortable.

Ahh, floating ribs, yes all us woman have them,most organs and things in the abdomin relocate when pregnant at a certain point, and the ribs can cause extreme discomfert.
I got this all the time, the only cure,
delivery.

Probably, mine push up on my ribs all the time. I once heard of a baby kicking a mother so hard while she was pregnant, that it broke a rib. Ouch!

Yes mam' it could. My little one decided my ribs were a nice resting place. She would kick and sit inthe oddest places!
