Okay, so my "best" friend has a boyfriend right, and that kinda made me the third wheel for about 6 months. She started to hang out with him more and I was just kinda by myself, because I didn't want her to get mad at me for trying to ruin her time with her boyfriend. So I let it go. Now I have a boyfriend, but he goes to a different school. And it seems like my best friend is pushing everyone away for her boyfriend, making him her life basically, and is forgetting that he's not the only person that cares about her. I've talked to her about it countless times and I dont know what to do now. I am stubborn, so I'm just not talking to her (of course, she's not talking to me either, for she is too busy being with her boyfriend every 2 minutes) But we were best friends for 5 years, and I really dont want to lose her, but I want her to stop being so caught up in her boyfriend too. Its been like this the past year, and I'm just to the point where I dont care what she does. Any advice?

OK well first off this is so typical of high school girls and their friends.I am asuming that you are in high school? Next you need to give her a little room to figure this out. She knows that you will always be there for her. That's what BEST FRIENDS are for. Right now it seems the boyfriend is her whole world, but not to worry she will not forget you. Keep on keeping in touch with her, even if it is frustrating to you. Maybe once or twice a week send her an e-mail or a quick phone call. Ask her if you could get together for a girls night maybe a movie or just hang out alone together. Tell her how important it is to you. Good Luck!! Hope it works!!

The fact that you've touched basis with her about her boyfriend and nothing has changed shows that she doesn't care about you at all. Talk to that girl one more time and just tell it like it is. She needs to get her priorities straight and her boyfriend is not the only person on this planet. If this situation still won't change, move on and continue to make new friends. You don't deserve a friend like her. Boys come a dime a dozen but best friends last forever. The bottom line is to do what you think is best for yourself. I hope this helps. Good luck.

Okay I had the same problem. Except the fact that my best friend and her boyfriend wanted me to go and hangout with them lol when all they did was flirt with each other I mean it was kind of awkward. I was kinda like the third wheel. I think you should kind of do the same thing with your boyfriend, nevermind that. What you need to do is go and talk to her boyfriend see if he can go talk to her about since he is the only one that she might listen to. Have you tried to email her? or im her? that is a way to talk to her. Just make sure that you don't insult her or her boyfriend if you do your dead meat. Jstu talk to her boyfriend ask him to talk to her. that is my best advice.
GOOD LUCK!!

I know it's your friend but she's a *****! Anyone who would push their best friend away for some dick isn't your friend. And the fact that you have brought it to her attention and nothing has changed, that's even more ****** up! Don't worry, when he dumps her for someone else, you'll be the first person she runs to crying. I know I was a little harsh, but that same thing happened to me and I guess i'm still a bit sore about it.

it sounds like your friend doesnt have her priorities in line. it should 1. school attendance and good grades and 2. then she should try to find sometime and hang with you and her other friends 3. then her boyfriend she could spend time with, she needs to her school attendance and grades and friends are important.

Seduce her boyfriend. When she confronts you about it, say you were proving how bad he was for her and you will have her back.
