How To Make Homework Fun

2016-11-01 12:34:22 · answer #2 · answered by dopico 4 · 0 0

You can make homework sort of a race set the timer for 1 hr and see how many problems or sentences she can get done in that hr then check them over with her if she has gotten them right give her a dollar or something like when she gets 7 dollars from the whole week take her to the dollar store or walmart and let her pick out a toy of some sort Like a beat the clock like the faster you get it done the faster you can play, watch tv play with your friends ect... Do not worry mom all kids go through this if you do not want to spoil her with money think of something else fun she would like like 30 more minutes of tv 10 more minutes of staying up before bed promising if she can get her homework done for a week straight and get most of the answers right within the hr of beat the clock then she could have 2 friends sleep over on a friday night she might like that. Just get creative tell her if she wants to have fun and hang out and do extra fun things she needs to settle down and really try hard for mom to get her work done. :0)

Some people do well when listening to music, but it might break your attention.

I would suggest to reward yourself after you are finished. If you complete your English homework, give yourself a reward of playing with a pet, or baking cookies, whatever it is you enjoy. It won't necessarily make the homework more fun, but it will make it feel more worthwhile!

I use to reward myself. If I spend an hour studying then I would get to go hang out with my friends. If I did (and handed in) all my homework for one week I'd go to the mall with my friends and buy myself something.

Try keeping a chart and set rewards for yourself (See if you can get your parents in on it too-- Some parents will reward kids for good grades with a special dinner or something that you really want).

Fun is where you find it!

Good luck!

you could try doing it to music. you could get all of your homework done before the CD's over but don't rush like crazy. or a really fun idea is to get some of your friends over and if you have any classes with them, see who can get that homework done the fastest. whoever gets done first(and has not put random answers down:)) gets a prize like an extra piece of pizza or some candy.
