I don't know where Michael got his info, as it has been in history the north had 4 to 1 over the south, counting the Immigrants they brought in from other countries, The south had won every major skirmish until that traitor Lee would not listen to his generals and lost 24000 men in 2 days at Gettysburg, Stewart and Hood wanted to bring their Calvary in from behind the Yankees and get them in a cross fire , Lee said no he wanted to bust the middle charging up hill in the open against fortified positions, Hood tried to kill Lee and would have had the others not stopped him. my great grand father was one of the officers there at the time,
