No, A team is not determined by a match and the players in it.
You said Brazil beat Argentina 3-0 without key players but think that the new talants may be more than the old one like carlos, cafu and so on. Remember England had beated Germany 5-1 in their Worldcup Qualifying game 2001 in the German soil. But afterwards in the worldcup finals '02 Gremany became runner up but england had to return from their quater final game.

Ronaldo Cafu & Carlos are no longer in the plans...
The Brasilian players who had an opportunity played their guts out... While the Argentine squad didn't have the same level of motivation. And they don't have a coach as credible and proved as a player as Dunga is/was...
PS I'm from Brasil, and they never have homefield advantage... Its actually a lot harder to play in Rio or SaoPaulo... We give them HELL if they dont score within 5 mins

Argentina just does not seem to come out against Brazil it seems. They are both very good teams and I think the Argies have greater depth everywhere. But perhaps the Brazilians really put everything out there and it means a lot to beat Argentina, because they have done it pretty regularly.

Yes Brazil is better but not just because of their last game against Argentina but because of their history. Brazil has more tradition than Argentina. They have won 5 world cups while Argie has won 2.
